We had a terrible experience with the owner, Frank Secra who, upon learning that some valuables went missing during the move, accused of us fabricating the story to extort money from him. He was loutish, unprofessional, unscrupulous and insulting. There are enough reviews here and elsewhere to give pause to any prospective client, the obviously phony hyperbolic 5-star reviews notwithstanding. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, especially if you don't like the smell of fish when handing over cash, which was the only tender they would accept.
My family members have used Compass Moving before and recommended them highly to me. I've used them twice to move around Florida with no problems. Highly recommended!

Compass Moving did a wonderful job. They were nice, efficient and professional. It is so rare that you have a moving company that you actually want to talk about. I would recommenced them to everyone.
This is the worst moving company I have ever had the unfortunate experience of dealing with in 8 years of moving in the military. The movers destroyed over $5,000 of personal items, cost me $480 to fix and repaint my walls, shamelessy argued about who was in charge, and slept on cardboard in my front lawn on their break. They even complained about pizza and subs I purchased for lunch. They openly bashed their boss who, apparently, is the husband of the owner and is only there because of that fact and definitely not because he's any value added (their words). After never filing a Damage Statement from a move, we were forced to file this time due to the extensive damage and property loss. They "lost" our paperwork several times, claimed it was filled out wrong despite step by step directions provided to us by them, and frequently used profanity during several phone calls made to attempt to resolve the issue. You could understand profanity from a lower level employee but we were speaking with the boss. 7 months later we are still trying to get reimbursed for their negligence and recklessness. This company is unprofessional, rude, dishonest, and lacks any sembalence of integrity. I strongly recommend you use any one other than Compass. You could hire several homeless men from around the downtown Miami area and get better customer service and professionalism.
